    FYI:
    * Wow, we survived a crazy week of weather and schedules!  We think we finally got all of our scheduled tests completed as well.  Looking forward to next week celebrating Catholic Schools.  Monday the students may wear clothing from a community they are involved in.  Tuesday is Spirit Wear with any bottoms and our movie, Wednesday is dress up for Jesus with early dismissal, Thursday students may wear a shirt that represents St. Francis, and Friday is pajama day and BINGO.  We are anxious to have a fun week celebrating our school and students!
    * In reading, we are starting Because of Winn-Dixie, one of our favorite fourth grade novels! 
    * We will be switching from social studies to science to study the muscular & skeletal systems.  Be listening for students to study the main bones in their body!

      FYI:
      * We enjoyed our tour of the Capitol building today.  The students were well behaved & represented SFA really well.  
      * Parts of Mass quiz will be on Tuesday, Jan. 15th.
      * The test over the Northeast region will be on Tuesday, Jan. 22.  Students should know their state locations, capitals and postal abbreviations.  They will also be tested over their 8 page book notes.
